Recently, the Brazilian Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade issued a note to the Economic and Trade Office of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan. The notice was based on Resolution No. 26 issued by the Foreign Trade Commission on May 10, 2016 in the official daily newspaper to make a positive preliminary ruling on the automobile glass originating in China. It is determined that the products under investigation are subject to dumping and industrial damage to Brazil. In addition, the Pakistani side selected Mexico as a surrogate country to calculate the normal value of the products involved, and decided to extend the anti-dumping investigation period of the case up to 8 months from November 11, 2016.
