China's self-developed high-end fire fighting master mass production

The reporter learned from FAW Bus Co., Ltd. that the urban fire fighting main vehicles independently developed by FAW Group have achieved mass production.

Jiang Jun, General Manager of FAW Bus Co., Ltd., said that currently, the FAW City Fire Fighting Vehicle has received 106 orders. By the end of January next year, it will deliver 50 vehicles to the Jilin Provincial Fire Protection Corps and deliver 33 vehicles to the Hunan Provincial Fire Fighting Corps. The other 23 vehicles will be delivered to users in Zhejiang and Qingdao by the end of February next year.

According to reports, the city's main fire fighting vehicles using FAW's own production of 350 hp Aowei engine, can match 100 liters per second of the pump, in the rescue site can work continuously for more than 8 hours, in the same class in the international advanced level. The fire truck is also equipped with an automatic transmission and has excellent acceleration performance. The acceleration time from 0 to 60 kilometers is less than 16 seconds, which improves attendance efficiency.
