When the vehicle is running, white steam is suddenly emitted from the engine cover, or the pointer of the water temperature gauge quickly rises to the high temperature mark “H”, indicating that the engine temperature is too high. Usually due to lack of water tank, leaking water or tank fan does not run and other reasons.

The processing method is as follows:

Step one: Immediately find a safe place to stop, but do not turn off immediately. Keep the engine idle and idle and continue to dissipate heat while opening the engine cover to increase the cooling rate.

Note: In case of high water temperature or even pan:

1. Do not try to continue driving so as not to cause a large loss accident.

2. Do not try to open the water tank cover, otherwise it is very likely that hot liquid will be sprayed to cause burns.

3, do not send cold water to the engine block, cylinder head, it is likely to cause the cylinder burst due to rapid cooling.

Step 2: After a period of time, check if there is water leakage under the car.

Step 3: After the water temperature indicator is lowered to the proper temperature position, turn off the engine.

Step 4: Wrap the water tank cover with a wet towel and slowly open the first switch (about 1/4 turn). After the steam pressure is released, fully open the water tank cover to check the water volume and water quality in the water tank, and the fan belt. Is there an exception? If there is not enough water, you should slowly add water near the highest mark.

Note: If the water tank is leaking or the fan belt is loose or broken, you can call the towing company to wait for the trailer to rescue. If necessary, you can also drive the car to the service plant for maintenance at a low speed after the engine is completely cooled. Remember, you can't drive at normal speed, or it may cause permanent damage to the engine.
