Generally, before setting the control parameters, the inverter should set the motor parameters for motor self-tuning, which guarantees a better control effect. Motor parameters are rated voltage, rated frequency, rated current, rated speed and so on marked on the motor nameplate.

However, some inverter motors do not have these ratings on the rating plate, but some parameters that indicate the working range, such as the frequency of 2-120hz, the speed of 150rpm, etc., are not rated. In this way, when setting the inverter rated parameters of the motor, often make some users can not start, do not know how to set. If set incorrectly, the motor current is often large, even current limit, while the torque output is not satisfactory, the load can not be driven properly.

First of all should be considered: control of unconventional motor, the inverter should be used V / F ratio of constant frequency control.

The correct setting method is:

Determine the number of motor poles;

According to the formula n (speed) = 60f (frequency) / P (number of pole pairs), the nameplate on the motor speed and pole pairs into the formula, calculate the value of f. That is converted to the highest speed corresponding to the frequency value;

The nameplate speed as the rated speed;

Will calculate the value of f slightly 1 ~ 2hz as the motor rated frequency;

Set the rated voltage, rated current and other nameplate data.
