Gaoding Chemical invests 30 million U.S. dollars in polyurethane projects

The reporter learned from the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province on the 8th that Taiwan Gaoding Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. has signed an investment agreement with Qitu Town, Jiangyin City, and will build a US$30 million polyurethane project here.

The joint delegation of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province and the Tutu Town of Jiangyin City made a special trip to Taichung Industrial Zone to visit Gaoding Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. on the spot and to conduct a total investment of US$30 million in a polyurethane project with the chairman of the company, Lin Qican. Negotiate and sign a project investment agreement.

Gaoding Chemical Taiwan Factory is located in Taichung Industrial Zone, Taichung City. Established in 1988, it mainly produces PU resin, polyols, polyurethane rubber and other products. The annual output reaches 70,000 tons, and annual sales of NT$4 billion. In order to further increase the market share of the mainland, Gaoding Chemical decided to build a new project in the Qitu New Material Industrial Park in Jiangyin City.

Including such new material projects as Gaoding Chemical, emerging industries such as electronic information and equipment manufacturing have become the focus of Taiwanese business investment in Jiangyin. Up to now, Jiangyin has 521 Taiwan-funded enterprises with a total investment of more than US$5.1 billion. The contract uses Taiwanese capital of US$3.2 billion and actually reaches US$1.38 billion.
