Gear Industry Releases Self-discipline Convention "12th Five-year Plan" into Strategic Opportunity Period

Recently, the Gear Professional Association released the "China's Gear Industry Convention for the Development and Self-Discipline of Innovation."

Referring to the background of the promulgation of the Convention, Wang Shengtang, Honorary President of the Association of Dental Workers, explained that the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” is a period of strategic opportunity for the gear industry to become bigger and stronger, and to condense the strength of the industry in the new situation and regulate the industry’s corporate market. The competitive behavior promotes China's gear industry to transform its economic development mode, enhance its independent innovation capability, enhance its ability to participate in international competition, and achieve industrial upgrading. It has specifically formulated a self-discipline for the innovation and development of this industry.

There are nine articles in the convention, including the counterfeiting of famous brands and opposition to infringement of intellectual property rights. The Convention also requires that members of the Association of Dental Workers Organizations jointly deal with technical barriers and standard barriers, “joint investment in common basic technologies, anti-fatigue manufacturing technologies, and product standards, share results, and actively seek support from national policies.
