Description:

 

HOPSON POWER WEIGHT offers a complete range of quality coated, non-coated and adhesive Wheel Weights for passenger cars, motorcycles and trucks. HOPSON Coated Wheel Weights are polyester coated(silver-grey) to prevent material staining on the alloy wheel. HOPSON adhesive wheel weights are pre-cut and require no additional cutting. A simplified organizational system makes wheel weight selection and application easy. Our goal is to become a partner, not just a product supplier. F160 is 60grams steel adhesive weight, madeup of 4x5 grams and 4x10 grams segments.

 

Surface: Zinc plated and Epoxy coated is avaliable.

Installation of Adhesive Weights:

 

Pre-treating the rim:

Clean the rim thoroughly with a cleaning agent that is compatible with varnish(e.g. IPA 70%) in order to remove any residual grease, silicone or adhesive.

Please note: A minimum of 15ºC is required in terms of both the room temperature and the rim temperature.

 

Pre-bending the weights:

Separate the correct gram(as calculated) from the bar. Mould the shape of the weight to match the rim radius(with protective film).

Please note: You need to bend the weights gradually, otherwise they will break apart at the joins. You should bend the weight to a little more than the rim's radius.

 

Removal of the protective film:

Remove the protective film.

Please note: Do not touch the glued surface after peeling off the rim.

 

Sticking the weight on:

Attached the weight to the calculated point on the rim, making sure that the weight is distributed evenly either side and the weight is parallel with the edge of the rim.

Please note: Press down on the weight hard, working from the centre to the left and right. A minimum pressure of 1kg/cm2 is required. The angle of the sticking surface should not be higher than 15 ºC to normal.
