The Southeast University's National Major Scientific Instrument Development Special Project was approved

In order to better promote the development of a national sub-task for major scientific instrument development, the “Raman Spectroscopy System for Single Cell and Cell Clusters”, the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering of Southeast University and the School of Science of Nantong University came to the stage on December 5th. On the 6th, a special seminar was held in Nantong. Professor Gu Ning, Dean of School of Biological Sciences and Medical Engineering of Southeast University, Professor Fang Jinghuai, Dean of the School of Science of Nantong University, and Professor Zhu Xi, Director of the Institute of Marine Medicine attended the meeting.

At the seminar, Dean Fang Jinghuai first represented the Nantong University School of Science and expressed his warm welcome to the scientific research workers who came to the meeting and expressed his best wishes for the success of the seminar. Next, the main members involved in the development task centered on their own research bases, and each of them conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges on the instrument's system design, core technologies, development programs, applied research, etc., and accepted the guidance and suggestions of the participating experts. While strengthening the understanding of each other's scientific work, it also lays a good foundation for the further development of joint research and development of instruments.

Professor Gu Ning summarized at the end of the seminar that the current development of major scientific instruments is an important strategic move of the country.
