3. Must be correctly wired when measuring. The Megohm meter has three terminals (L, E, G). When measuring the loop resistance to ground, the L terminal is connected to the bare conductor of the loop, and the E terminal is connected to the grounding wire or metal shell; when measuring the insulation resistance of the loop, the head and tail ends of the loop are connected to L and E, respectively; the insulation of the measuring cable is When resistance, in order to prevent the cable surface leakage current from affecting the measurement accuracy, the cable shield should be connected to the G terminal.
4. Measured from the megohmmeter terminals, the measuring cord insulation should be good, and the distance between the two wires and between the wire and the ground should be maintained to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
