Polypropylene, also known as Pp Resin, is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. Virgin Pp Resin is produced via chain-growth polymerization from the monomer propylene. As one of Rubber And Plastic, like Eva Resin,Pvc Resin,Pp Resin Polypropylene belongs to the group of polyolefins and is partially crystalline and non-polar. Plastic Pp Granules Resin properties are similar to polyethylene, but it is slightly harder and more heat resistant. It is a white, mechanically rugged material and has a high chemical resistance.
Pp Resin is in many aspects similar to polyethylene, especially in solution behaviour and electrical properties. The methyl group improves mechanical properties and thermal resistance, although the chemical resistance decreases. The properties of Pp Resin Polypropylene depend on the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, crystallinity, type and proportion of comonomer (if used) and the isotacticity. In Pp Powder Resin, for example, the methyl groups are oriented on one side of the carbon backbone. This arrangement creates a greater degree of crystallinity and results in a stiffer material that is more resistant to creep than both atactic polypropylene and polyethylene.

It is reported that Wartsila signed a contract for the supply of three 27,500 CBM-class "Multigas" carriers built by Nantong Pacific Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd. in March. The related kits include integrated cargo handling, gas supply solutions, and dual fuel engines. As well as accessories such as propulsion systems.
The contract was related to the new ship series that the Danish shipowner Evergas ordered in the Pacific Ocean in January. The first kit supply contract was signed in April last year, and then the accessory contract for another three ships was signed.
Under the contract, Wartsila will supply two dual-fuel main engines "50DF", as well as two auxiliary machines "20DF", transmissions, adjustable pitch propellers and accessories such as the Cargo Handling System.
The relevant new shipbuilding will be delivered in 2015. Through the cooperation with Pacific Offshore, Wartsila's system supply and installation will be maintained until the launch stage.
According to statistics, at the beginning of this month, Pacific Offshore obtained the world's largest 27500CBM and LNG/ethylene "Multigas" transport ship orders from Evergas, including the company's orders for six identical ships.
