In addition, passenger bus companies in China have received orders for exporting school buses for many times this year, which also shows the huge potential for development of the school bus market.

In fact, in recent years, major bus manufacturers such as Yutong, Sujin, and Dajinlong have turned their attention to the development and production of private school buses. Industry analysts pointed out that there are 440,000 school buses in the United States, and 25 million elementary and middle school students are transferred every day, accounting for 54% of the total number of primary and secondary school students. The total population of China is double that of the United States, and the United States is the reference system. In the future, the total demand for school buses will at least double the market space for passenger cars. In the last five years, it was the start-up phase of this emerging market segment for private school buses. It is conservatively predicted that there will be a total demand of about 50,000 vehicles.

According to Zhen Zhenqing, chief analyst of China Bus Statistical Information Network, “Student Safety” and “City Congestion” are currently prominent social contradictions, and passenger cars can precisely locate their market role and solve student safety in the intersection of these two major contradictions. The carrier is the school bus.

As the earliest enterprise entering the private school bus market in China, Yu Yuxiang, chairman of Yutong Bus, believes that the demand for school buses in China will exceed 1 million, and the annual number of updates will reach 100,000 to 150,000. The million-meter school bus market can drive a new industry chain of 40 billion yuan. As of August this year, Yutong’s school bus sales exceeded 1,000 in 2011, mainly to Guangzhou, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Beijing.
