Jingyuan Chicken

Origin (or distribution) produced in Jingning County, Gansu Province and Guyuan City, Ningxia. Also known as Jingning Chicken and Guyuan Chicken.

The main features are egg and meat type chickens. Medium in size, the rooster has high head and neck raises, high tail feathers, a well-developed chest, a wide, long back, and a thick, thick brood. The hen has a small head and a wide-breasted back. Adult rooster feathers mainly have red and black (red) feathers. Adult hens are more feathery, with yellow feathers, black feathers, white feathers, and variegated feathers. Yellow feathers and hemp feathers are the most common. Crowns are mostly rose crowns, and a few are single crowns. Mostly gray. Rainbow is mainly orange. Gray, a few individuals have feathers. White skin. Adult chicken weight: 1888 to 2250 grams, 1630 to 1670 grams. The slaughter rate of 180 days: semi-net weight, 74.2% of males, 74.0% of females, 69.0% of males, 68.4% of females. The date of production is 240 to 270 days, with an annual production of 117 to 124 eggs, an egg weight of 57 grams and a brown eggshell.
