Bridgestone ECOPIA National Truck Tour kicks off

On September 23, 2010, the Bridgestone ECOPIA National Truck Show opened in Shanghai. It is reported that this tour will cover 2 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government and will bring Bridgestone's green concept of safety and environmental protection to more people.

In 2010, the successor of the Group's environmental declaration, Bridgestone launched a comprehensive environmental protection strategy in the Chinese market. At the end of March, it introduced the eco-label ECOPIA green song partner of environmental protection and realized localization. In May, the first environmental protection product EP100A tires went on sale. In just three months, it completed its annual sales target and won a good start. In June, all the four tire factories in China reached the goal of completely eliminating zero waste. Recalling Bridgestone's footprint in the Chinese market, it is not difficult to find that as a leader in the tire industry, companies are committed to their own environmental protection while actively advocating a safe and environmentally friendly car life, and continue to carry out consumer-oriented interactions activity. In October 2008, Bridgestone teamed up with the China Association of Motor Sports to launch the "Make Cars Green" environmental enlightenment campaign to promote Chinese car owners to "green drive" ways that can protect the earth; in June 2009, The Bridgestone Safety and Environmental Protection Carnival in Beijing, which lasted for one year, organically combines the concepts of “safety” and “environmental protection” and is committed to passing the two concepts to a wider audience through cruising in five major cities. The truck tour project is Bridgestone's longest trip in China and the most interactive environmental protection activities with consumers. It is believed that there will be another wave of environmental protection.

In the traditional "off-season" of the recent past, car sales reached 1,215,500 vehicles, an increase of 15.09% compared with the previous period and a year-on-year increase of 55.72%. The media exclaimed that the sales season was ahead of schedule. The vigorous development of China's auto market poses a huge issue for environmental protection.
