The profit margin of enterprises is very small, especially SMEs are at stake in low-price competition. According to statistics, there are nearly 6,000 food and packaging machinery manufacturers in the country, of which more than 2,000 are not stable enough. Nearly 15% of the companies convert or close down each year. Only about a dozen companies with output value and sales of more than 100 million yuan, and 50 companies with annual sales of more than 30 million yuan, 75% of the industry's export products are produced by these 50 companies. People in the industry believe that the reshuffling of the industry is inevitable, and small companies will be phased out and merged in the competition, including small and medium-sized enterprises for bag-type automatic packaging machines. There are many reasons leading to this situation, including the following four aspects:

1, lack of development capabilities. China's food and packaging machinery is still mainly imitation, mapping, a little localization improvements, not to mention development research. Product development lacks innovation and is difficult to achieve. Most of the production methods are backward, using the old general-purpose equipment. New product development is not only small but also has a long development cycle. On the one hand, the variety of domestic equipment can not meet the needs of domestic food and packaging companies. On the other hand, the profits of mechanized plant production and sales on a stand-alone basis are meagre, and it is impossible to obtain the high efficiency of sales of complete sets of equipment, such as bag-type packaging machines.

3, poor product quality. The quality gap between China's food and packaging machinery products is mainly reflected in poor stability and reliability, poor shape, rough appearance, short life of basic parts and accessories, short failure-free operation time, short overhaul period, and the vast majority of products have not been developed yet. Reliability standards. The international packaging industry attaches great importance to improving the general capabilities of packaging machinery processing and the entire packaging system. Therefore, the specialization of packaging machinery parts production is an inevitable trend of development. Many parts and components are no longer produced by the packaging machinery factory, but by some common standard parts. Factory production, some of the special parts produced by highly specialized manufacturers, the truly famous packaging machinery factory will probably be an assembly plant. The product develops into multi-functional and single, high-speed polarization. The ultimate role of packaging machinery is to improve production efficiency and product diversity.

4, the level of technology is low. The main performance is poor product reliability, slow technology update, and less application of new technologies, new processes, and new materials. China's food and packaging machinery have more stand-alone machines, complete sets, fewer general-purpose models, special requirements, and special materials. There are many products with low technological content and few high-tech value-added products with high productivity. For example, the intelligent equipment for automatic bag-type packaging machines is still in the dry development stage.
